Exprese a signalizace p63 v nádorech
p63 expression and signaling in cancer
Abstract:
p63 patří do rodiny proteinu p53 a jeho dvě hlavní izoformy, TAp63 a ΔNp63, vznikají transkripcí ze dvou odlišných promotorů genu TP63. TAp63 obsahuje transaktivační doménu podobnou proteinu p53 a chová se jako nádorový supresor, zatímco izoforma ΔNp63 tuto doménu postrádá, vykazuje vlastnosti onkoproteinu a je zapojená do regulace kmenových buněk. p63 protein je ovšem často studován bez rozlišení …moreAbstract:
p63 is a protein belonging to the p53 protein family and its two main isoforms, TAp63 and ΔNp63 arise from the different promotor usage of the TP63 gene. TAp63 contains a p53-like transactivation domain and possesses tumor suppressor activities whereas ΔNp63 lacks this domain, has oncoprotein properties, and is involved in stem cell regulation. Unfortunately, p63 is often studied without distinction …more
