History of silver mining in the southern part of distrikt Havlíčkův Brod

Abstract:

Těžba stříbrné rudy na území dnešního Havlíčkova Brodu (dříve Německý Brod) spadá do první třetiny 13. století. Silná hornická kolonizace velmi výrazně ovlivnila celé území, jak hospodářsky, tak geomorfologicky. Rychlá proměna celé oblasti náhle končí počátkem 14. století, kdy díky živelným pohromám a sociálněekonomické situaci dochází k úpadku hornické činnosti v této oblasti. I přes relativně krátkou dobu trvání zanechala hornická činnost na tomto území velké množství pozůstatků jak v podobě odvalů a propadlin, tak v názvech zdejších sídel. Pozměnila také vzhled celé krajiny, který se dochoval do současnosti.

Abstract:

Silver ore mining on the territory of today's Havlíčkův Brod ( formerly German Brod ) falls into the first third of the 13th century . Strong mining colonization significantly influenced the whole territory ,both economically and geomorphology . Rapid transformation of the whole region ends abruptly at the beginning of the 14th century , when due to natural disasters and socio-economic situation had bankrupt mining activities in this area . Despite the relatively short duration, the mining activity in this territory has left a large amount of debris both in the form of dumps and depressions and in the names of local settlements. The maining industry also influenced the insight of the whole landscape, which has survived to the present.
