Incidence and prevention of injuries in football

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zpracování tématu výskytu zranění a jejich prevence ve fotbale. Teoretická část je zaměřena na popis fotbalu, zranění a prevenci těchto zranění. V této práci je vyhodnoceno dotazníkové šetření. Dotázáno bylo 100 hráčů fotbalu, z nichž 90 částečně vyplnilo dotazník a celkově 76 z nich odpovědělo na otázky v dotazníkovém šetření, které byly zaměřeny na zranění. Součástí dotazníkového šetření bylo také hodnocení KOOS, kterého se zúčastnilo 55 respondentů. Výsledky praktické části ukázaly, že nejčastějším zraněním ve fotbale není v praxi zranění hamstringu, nýbrž vyvrtnutí kotníku. Dále ukázaly, že zranění se nejčastěji vyskytují ve střední části obou poločasů, tudíž dle studie, která zkoumala zranění u profesionálních fotbalistů, se výsledky neshodují, jelikož tato studie jako dobu zranění uváděla konce poločasů. Také bylo prokázáno, že metoda léčby RICE je nejhojněji využívanou metodou.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to address the topic of injuries and their prevention in football. The theoretical part is focused on the description of football, injuries and prevention of these injuries. In this work, a questionnaire survey is evaluated. 100 football players were interviewed, of which 90 partially completed the questionnaire and a total of 76 answered the questions in the questionnaire survey, which were focused on injuries. The questionnaire survey also included an evaluation of KOOS, which was attended by 55 respondents. The results of the practical part showed that the most common injury in football is not hamstring injury in practice, but ankle sprains. They also showed that injuries most often occur in the middle of both halves, so according to a study that examined injuries in professional footballers, the results do not match, as this study reported the end of halves as the time of injury. RICE has also been shown to be the most widely used method.
