Preschool children s concepts of the nature

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Pojetí přírody u dětí předškolního věku se zabývá zjišťováním prekoncepcí předškolních dětí o přírodě. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku předškolního dítěte, konkrétně na jeho kognitivní, tělesný a motorický, emocionální a socializační vývoj. Dále přechází k problematice dětských pojetí a v poslední oblasti se blíže věnuje realizaci environmentální výchovy v mateřské škole. Empirická část zjišťuje interpretace pojmu příroda prostřednictvím analýzy kresby, individuálního polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a pozorování. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že předškolní děti nejčastěji interpretují pojem příroda prostřednictvím stromů, slunce, květin, trávy a mraků. V závěru lze nalézt shrnutí a diskuzi výsledků šetření.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Preschool children's concepts of the nature is aimed at identifying preschool children's preconceptions about nature. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part focuses on a characteristic of preschool children, namely congnitive, physical and motor, emotional and social development. Further it goes into the issue of children's understanding of nature and the last area takes a closer look at a realization of environmental education in kindergarten. The empirical part finds out the interpretation of the concept of nature by analyzing drawings, individual semi-structured interviews and observation. The research showed that most preschool children interpret the concept of nature through the trees, the sun, flowers, grass and clouds. In conclusion, we can find a summary and discussion of the survey results.
