Oslabené kmeny Salmonella enterica lze využít pro expresi heterologních antigenů. Schopnost sekrece proteinů však u atenuovaných kmenů salmonel nebyla studována. V první části své práce jsem proto porovnávala proteinovou sekreci u mutantů rfaL, rfaG, rfaC, lon, htrA, clpP, aroA, phoP a spoT-relA ve kmenech S. enterica serovar Typhimurium a Enteritidis. Attenuated strains of Salmonella enterica are frequently used as a vector for the expression of heterologous antigens. However, the ability of protein secretion in attenuated Salmonella strains has not been studied.
