The nursing process in the care of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm

Abstract:

Hlavní téma bakalářské práce je ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s aneurysmatem abdominální aorty a následné zpracování ošetřovatelské diagnózy související s pooperační péčí o pacienta. Práce je rozdělená na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část je vhledem do zvolené problematiky prostřednictvím vysvětlení základních pojmů souvisejících s aneurysmatem abdominální aorty. Jsou popsány základní charakteristické příčiny, diagnostika, léčba a komplikace. Ve druhé kapitole je zpracována ošetřovatelská péče s přihlédnutím k jejím specifikům v souvislosti s vybraným onemocněním se zaměřením na předoperační, intraoperační a pooperační období. Empirická část je věnována ošetřovatelskému procesu u vybraného pacienta se zaměřením na pooperační období. V tomto pooperačním období jsou stanoveny ošetřovatelské diagnózy na základě určujících znaků a souvisejících faktorů. K těmto ošetřovatelským diagnózám jsou stanoveny odpovídající cíle ošetřovatelské péče a intervence k jejich splnění. Jednotlivé ošetřovatelské diagnózy jsou stanoveny podle domén NANDA - Internacionál Taxonomie II.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is taking care of a patient with abdominal aortic aneurysm and the subsequent processing of the diagnosis relating to the postoperative care. The work is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part provides an insight into the subject through an explanation of basic terms relating to the abominal aortic aneurysm. The fundamental characteristic causes, diagnostics, treatment and complications are all described there. The second chapter deals with nursing care, focussing on its specifics in connection with the selected disease, concentrating on preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative stages. The empirical part deals with the nursing process of a selected patient, paying attention to the postoperative stage. During the postoperative period the diagnoses are determined based on distinctive features and connected factors. The aims appropriate to these diagnoses are set as well as interventions leading to the aims to be met. The individual nursing diagnoses are laid down according to the NANDA International Taxonomy II domains.
