Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Rozvoj autonomního učení žáků" se zabývá tématem autonomního učení anglického jazyka dětí na základní škole. Práce hodnotí možnost zdokonalení autonomního učení prací žáků v centrech aktivit. Téma je představeno teoretickým úvodem v první části práce, pak následuje část praktická, ve které je vysvětlen použitý postup při používání center aktivit přímo ve vybrané třídě. Jsou ukázány a vysvětleny postupy práce v centrech aktivit, včetně ukázek použitých materiálů. Jednotlivá centra jsou vystavena i na webové stránce, kde žáci vyjadřovali v průběhu práce svůj postoj a zkušenost s prací v centrech. V závěru práce jsou tyto jejich reakce, spolu s celkovým hodnocením, ve vztahu k autonomnímu učení, zhodnoceny. Výsledky výzkumu jsou shrnuty v závěrečné části práce. V zásadě lze konstatovat, že centra aktivit lze při výuce s úspěchem použít v procesu vedení dětí k autonomnímu učení. Další zajímavé zjištění, které výzkum přinesl je, že děti jsou schopny autonomního učení již v poměrně raném věku, pokud jsou systematicky vedeny.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Leading Children towards Autonomous Learning “deals with the problem of autonomous learning of English language among pupils at an elementary school. The work examines the possibility of improving it through the innovative method of learning centers. The topic is presented from the theoretical perspective in the first part. This is followed by the practical part which describes the process of application of learning centers as well as the activities used during action research in a classroom. Individual activities are published on the website where pupils expressed their attitude and experience with learning centers during action research. Examples of activities are presented as well as the used material. Finding of the research are summarized in the final part of the thesis. The principal conclusion is that learning centers can be successfully used in the classroom during the process of leading children towards autonomous learning. Another interesting finding is that children are capable of autonomous learning already at an early age if they are led systematically.
