Abstract:

Tato Bakalářská práce se zabývá výukou gramatických jevů, které neexistují českém jazyce. Snaží se nastínit pozadí vzniku těchto rozdílných gramatických jevů v češtině a angličtině z historického pohledu. Práce se pokouší odpovědět na otázky, jaké jevy to jsou, zdali by se gramatika obecně měla či neměla vyučovat a zaměřuje se na vhodné učební metody, které by mohly žákům na základní škole pomoci překonat těžkosti spojené s učením těchto jevů. Práce se zaměřuje především na časy, které se do češtiny překládají jako minulý čas. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část je teoretická. Zdůvodňuje rozdíly mezi českým a anglickým jazykem způsobené původem a rozdílným vývojem těchto jazyků a pojednává o výuce gramatiky v angličtině. Druhá část je zaměřena prakticky. Hlavním cílem této části je navrhnout postup výuky minulého prostého a předpřítomného času u žáků navštěvujících základní školu. Zaměřuje se na způsoby, metody a techniky, které jsou považovány za účinné. Výuka je rozpracována a názorně ilustrována na příkladech výukových sekvencí.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with teaching grammar points and structures non-existent in Czech. The objective of the thesis is to foreshadow the background of the rise of different grammar points and structures in Czech and English from the historical point of view. It tries to answer questions what these structures are, whether grammar generally should or should not be taught and it focuses on appropriate teaching methods that could help pupils overcome difficulties in studying grammar points/structures non-existent in Czech. Chiefly, it concentrates on teaching various English tenses that are translated into Czech as past tense. The thesis is divided into two main parts. Part One is purely theoretical. It substantiates differences between Czech and English caused by their origin and history and deals with teaching grammar. Part Two of the thesis is oriented practically. The main objective of this part is to devise a procedure that could be used when teaching pupils at a primary school the past simple and present perfect tenses. It is centred on ways, methods and techniques that are considered to be effective for pupils to be able to grasp regularities and rules governing the correct use of the past simple and present perfect. The teaching process is exemplified on teaching sequences of these two tenses.
