Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na vytvoření metodiky pro tvorbu opravných položek k majetku respektive k pohledávkám. Bakalářská práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou a praktickou. Abychom pochopili podstatu opravných položek, je třeba v teoretické části nejdříve objasnit pojmy jako účetnictví, jeho funkce, zásady, účetní závěrka, účtový rozvrh a účty používané k účtování opravných položek. Hlavní náplní teoretické části je vysvětlení podstaty a významu opravných položek, jejich tvorba a zúčtování. Rozčlením opravné položky na opravné položky k zásobám zboží a k pohledávkám včetně konkrétních příkladů. Vymezím základní pravidla pro tvorbu zákonných opravných položek k pohledávkám, a to k malým a časovým pohledávkám, i za dlužníky v insolvenčním řízení. Objasním význam opravných položek pro účetní výkaznictví v účetní závěrce. V praktické části se zaměřím na analýzu pohledávek a opravných položek u konkrétní společnosti. Tu jsem si vybrala z důvodu, že jsem zde několik let pracovala jako účetní. Budu analyzovat také účetní závěrku za rok 2017, ale především tvořené a rušené opravné položky, jejich výši, odůvodněnost i zákonnost. Zmíním postup při vymáhání pohledávek po splatnosti. Provedu vyhodnocení postupů dané společnosti. Cílem mé práce bude vytvoření obecného metodického postupu, který lze využívat při tvorbě a rušení opravných položek u účetní jednotky.

Abstract:

The thesis is aimed at creating a methodology for creation of allowances to property, respectively for receivables. The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In order to understand the nature of the adjustments, it is necessary to clarify in the theoretical part concepts such as accounting, its functions, principles, financial statements, the billing schedule and the accounts used to account for adjustments. The main part of the theoretical part is an explanation of the nature and importance of adjustments, their creation and settlement. I break down the adjusting for adjusting for inventories and receivables, including specific examples. I will define the basic rules for the creation of statutory adjustments to receivables, both for small and time receivables, as well as for debtors in insolvency proceedings. I clarify the significance of the financial statement adjustments in the financial statements. In the practical part, I will focus on the analysis of receivables and adjustments for a specific company. I chose this one because I worked here for several years as an accountant. I will also analyze the financial statement for the year 2017, but above all created and distorted adjustments, their amount, the justification and the legality. I will set out the procedure for the recovery of receivables overdue. I will conduct an evaluation of the company's practices. The aim of my work will be to create a general methodological procedure that can be used to create and cancel adjustments to an accounting unit.
