Usage of educational drama involving fairy tale in the selected kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zpracováním pohádek skrze metody a techniky dramatické výchovy ve vybrané mateřské škole a navrhuje inspirativní výchovně-vzdělávací programy pro učitele mateřské školy, demonstrující, jak s dětmi skrze zážitkové učení poznávat svět, rozvíjet jejich osobnost jako celek, učit je vyjadřovat samo sebe, projevovat emoce, představivost a fantazii. Obsahem teoretické části jsou kapitoly věnující se vývoji předškolního dítěte ve všech jeho složkách a předškolnímu vzdělávání. Následně se zaměřují na pohádku a její přínos pro dítě a v neposlední řadě se věnují metodám a technikám dramatické výchovy, jejich využití při práci s pohádkou a roli učitele v tomto způsobu práce. V praktické části jsou představeny dva vytvořené a zrealizované tematické celky zpracovávající dvě pohádky skrze metody a techniky dramatické výchovy, a to pro konkrétní třídu mateřské školy v Plzni.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines fairy tale adaptations using the methods and techniques of drama education in one specific kindergarten. Moreover, it proposes inspirational educational programs for kindergarten teachers which illustrate how experimental education enable children to explore the world, how it contributes to their personal development, their ability to express themselves, to manifest their feelings, imagination and fantasy. The theoretical part describes all the aspects of preschool-age children's development and preschool education. Furthermore, it focuses on the notion of fairy tale and its beneficial effects on children and, last but not least, it presents the methods and techniques of drama education, its employment for fairy tale adaptation and the teacher's role in this process. The empirical part introduces two thematic units that were created and realized in a kindergarten class in Pilsen, adapting two fairy tales using the methods and techniques of drama education.
