Reflection of everyday life

Abstract:

Umělecká reflexe našeho každodenního života může mít různé podoby, například formu autobiografického komiksového deníku, abstrakce vyjadřující pocity nebo i autoportrétů. Cílem této práce je demonstrovat možné přístupy k reflexi všedních dní či uměleckému deníku, jejich popis a návrh na zprostředkování tématu ve výuce. Praktickou část tvoří spontánní kresby zaměřené na autorčinu autentickou reflexi života prostřednictvím subjektivního vnímání domova, každodenních zkušeností, pocitů a osobního času. Teoretická část má povahu doprovodného textu, který objasňuje základ autorských reflexí a vizuálních deníků obecně. Obsahuje popis ztvárnění tematiky u vybraných tvůrců v závislosti na kontextu jejich života. Hlavní metodou je analýza autorských děl a pojetí vizuální reflexe na základě interpretací děl a motivací kreslit osobní reflektivní obsah. Výsledkem diplomové práce je komplexní popis přístupů k vizuálním deníkům a návrh pro učitele, jak a proč téma zprostředkovat žákům výtvarné výchovy.

Abstract:

The artistic reflection of our everyday life can take various forms such as an autobiographical comic diary, abstractions expressing feelings, or even self-portraits. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate possible approaches to reflecting on our everyday life and art diary, their description and proposal for mediating the topic in education. The practical part consists of spontaneous drawings focused on the author's authentic life reflection through subjective perception of home, everyday experiences, feelings, and personal time. The theoretical part has the nature of an accompanying text that clarifies the basis of author’s reflections and visual diaries in general. It contains a description of various art diaries, depending on the context of authors' lives. The main method is an analysis of author’s artwork and conception, based on interpretation of an artwork and the motivation to draw personal diary content. The result of the master's thesis is a comprehensive description of approaches to visual diaries and suggestion for teachers on how and why to mediate the topic to students in art education.
