Influence of nonaromatic oil on physical and mechanical properties and workability of rubber

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním fyzikálně mechanických vlastností kaučukových směsí a jejich zpracovatelských vlastností. Od 1. 1. 2010 nabyla v platnost evropská směrnice č.79/769/EHS, která stanovuje nutnost používání nearomatických olejů v kaučukových směsí namísto aromatických olejů. Důvodem je škodlivost aromatických uhlovodíků na živé organismy v dosud používeném typu oleje. V práci jsou porovnány fyzikálně mechanické vlastnosti kaučukových směsí s původním olejem a nearomatickým olejem, které jsou stanoveny laboratorními zkouškami firmy Mitas, a.s. Dále jsou v této práci porovnány zpracovatelské vlastnosti obou směsí při zpracování u vytlačovací linky firmy Mitas, a. s. V závěru je popsána následná korekce vytlačovací hlavy (vytlačovací šablony) z důvodů odlišného narůstání směsi za hubicí při zachování stejných vytlačovacích podmínek a odzkoušení pláště s modifikovanou kaučukovou směsí na zkušebně IGTT, a.s.

Abstract:

This Diploma thesis is concerned with comparison of physical mechanical properties of rubber compounds and their processing conditions. On the 1.1.2010 the European directive No. 79/769/EHS determining necessity of non - aromatic oils in rubber compound istead of the aromatic ones came into force. The reason is the harmfulness of aromatic hydrocarbons to living organisms in currently used oil. This thesis compares physical mechanical qualities of rubber compounds with the original oil and non-aromatic oil, which are determined by laboratory tests of Mitas company. Further on this work deals with comparison of processing conditions of both rubber compounds by the extrusion at the extruding machine Mitas company. At the conclusion of the thesis is described the subsequent correction of the extrusion die because of different swelling of the compound behind die by preservation of the same extruding conditions and testing of the tyre with modified rubber compound in IGTT testing laboratory.
