Všichni používáme modální slovesa v každodenní komunikaci, jak v mluveném, tak v psaném projevu. Některá modální slovesa (a jejich použití) se vyučují již na základních školách. Abstract:
We all use modal verbs in everyday communication, both in speaking and writing. Some modal verbs (and their usage) are taught already in primary schools. The students often use modal verbs in the wrong; they cannot distinguish semantic differences. Therefore the sentence containing a particular modal verb often has a different meaning than intended.
