The Standard of Nursing Care - Central Veins System Catheterization

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce byla aktualizace standardu ošetřovatelské péče ? Katetrizace centrálního žilního systému. Dílčím cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, zda současný ošetřovatelský standard vyhovuje novým požadavkům akreditačních procesů a zda splňuje současné doporučené postupy. Na základě výsledků provést aktualizaci standardu a předložit ho vedení Slezské nemocnici v Opavě. Metodika: Slezská nemocnice v Opavě je akreditovanou nemocnicí dle SAK o.p.s., a je povinna provádět vždy za jedno akreditační období aktualizaci svých standardizovaných postupů. Ošetřovatelský standard ? Katetrizace centrálního žilního systému je jedním ze standardů, které touto aktualizací musí projít. Data byla sbírána metodou analýzy dokumentu na centrální jednotce intenzivní péče v Slezské nemocnici v Opavě. Pomocí nastavených kritérií a nových doporučení bylo provedeno srovnání se stávajícím standardem. Na základě výsledků, byl navrhnut nový standard katetrizace. Byla použita osnova pro standardy, dle platné směrnice Slezské nemocnice v Opavě, o vytváření standardů a dokumentů. Obsah standardu byl vytvořen na podkladě analýzy dokumentu, připomínek z rozhovorů a nových poznatků, získaných z internetových zdrojů, vědeckých studií a podobně. Po konzultaci a schválení vedením centrální jednotky intenzivní péče, byl standard v definitivní verzi předložen vedení a komisi pro standardy, Slezské nemocnice v Opavě, k následnému vydání. Výsledky: Na základě nových doporučení bylo zjištěno, že stávající standard neodpovídá požadavkům SAK a v některých bodech je nutný doplnit dle současných postupů. Závěr: Byl navrhnutý nový ošetřovatelský standard - Katetrizace centrálního žilního systému a předložen vedení k připomínkování a vydání.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this thesis was to update the standard - Central Venous Catheterization Cystem. The sub-objektive of this thesis was to determine whether the current nursing standards meet the new requirements of the accreditation process and the current recommended procedures. Next step is to draw up a new standard based on the results and submit it to the leadership of the Silesian Hospital in Opava. Methods: Silesian Hospital in Opava is accredited according to SAK and it is obliged to carry out an update of their standardized procedures every accreditation period. Nursing Standard - Central Venous Catheterization System is one of the standards which must go through this update. Data was collected by analysis of documents on the central intensive care unit of the Silesian Hospital in Opava. Using the set kriteria and new recommendations was compared with the current standard and proposed new standard catheterization. We used the standards syllabus, according to the applicable directive of Silesian Hospital in Opava, about creating standards and documents. The content of the standard was created on the basis of dokument analysis, interview and comments from new knowledge gained from Internet sources, scientific studies and so on. After consultation with the central leadership of the intensive care unit and their approval, the norm in the final version was submitted to the commission for guidance and standards, Silesian Hospital in Opava, for subsequent release. Results: Based on the evaluation criteria, it was found that the existing standard does not meet the SAK and at some points it is necessary to complete it according to current procedures. Conclusion: A new nursing standard - Central Venous Catheterization System was suggested and submitted for comments and publication.
