Inclusion and Socialisation of Children from ethnic Minorities at a Chosen Elemantary School

Abstract:

Práce je věnována problematice inkluze a socializace dětí z etnických minorit na vybrané základní škole. Teoretické ukotvení spočívá v diskurzu multikulturalismu a interkulturalismu a jejich přesahy do pedagogiky. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak zavedení těchto diskurzů do pedagogiky ovlivnilo socializaci a inkluzi dětí z etnických minorit do školního kolektivu. Dalším úkolem je zjistit, zda se již popsané kulturní modely stále projevují ve vzdělávání. Hlavním zdrojem práce je vlastní terénní výzkum realizovaný na základní škole v krajském městě od října 2015 do dubna 2016.

Abstract:

The thesis concentrates on the problematics of inclusion and socialisation of children from ethnic minorities on a chosen elemantary school. The theoretical anchoring is based on a discourse of multiculturalism and interculturalism and their overlap into pedagogy. The thesis aims to find how the implemetation of these discourses into pedagogy influenced the socialization and the inclusion of children from ethnic minorities into the school's collective. The major source of the thesis is own field survey that was carried out on a primary school in county town from October 2015 till April 2016.
