Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na hodnocení kvality spolupráce vyučujících a studentů ve vysokoškolském prostředí očima studentů a její vztah k motivaci a prožívání fenoménu flow rovněž na straně studentů. Klíčovým aspektem spolupráce je vztah mezi vedoucím práce (ateliérové, diplomové, disertační) a jeho studentem, na nějž je nahlíženo optikou interpersonálních stylů (Wubbels a Levy). K motivaci je přistupováno z pohledu Self-determination theory (Ryan a Deci), což je perspektiva, která je společně s konceptem flow – optimálního prožívání (Csikszentmihalyi) spojena s poměrně novým směrem pozitivní psychologie, který tvoří rámec pro teoretické uvažování o zvolené problematice. Práce se věnuje také vztahu flow a motivace, jakož i flow a osobnostních rysů extraverze a neuroticismu. Z analýzy dat sebraných dotazníkovou metodou na vzorku 93 studentů vyplývá, že interakční styl vyučujícího může souviset s kvalitou motivace, výskytem optimálního prožívání a celkovou spokojeností studentů s jejich vzájemnou spoluprací a že některé interakční styly mohou být v těchto hlediscích výhodnější než jiné. Byla potvrzena hypotéza o pozitivním vztahu flow a autonomní motivace a naopak o negativní relaci flow k amotivaci. Rovněž v souladu s předpokladem se ukázalo, že flow se negativně vztahuje k osobnostnímu rysu neuroticismu, zatímco hypotéza o vztahu flow k extraverzi nebyla podepřena dostatečnými důkazy.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the quality of the cooperation of professors and university students as evaluated by the students, and its relationship to students´ motivation and flow experience. A key aspect of this cooperation is the relationship between supervisor of studio work or master (doctoral) thesis and his student, which is viewed through the lens of interpersonal styles (Wubbels and Levy). The motivation is approached from the perspective of the Self-determination theory (Deci and Ryan), a perspective that is, together with the concept of flow - the optimal experience (Csikszentmihalyi), associated with a relatively new movement of positive psychology, which presents the theoretical framework for the thesis. The paper also addresses the relationship of motivation and flow, as well as between flow and personality traits of extroversion and neuroticism. The analysis of data collected using a questionnaire on a sample of 93 students indicates that the professor's interpersonal style may be related to the quality of motivation, the occurrence of optimal experience of the student as well as his overall satisfaction with their mutual cooperation. Some of the styles may be in these perspectives more favorable than the others. The hypotheses of both positive correlation between flow state and autonomous motivation and of negative relation between flow and amotivation were confirmed. Also in accordance with the assumption it was affirmed that flow is negatively related to the personality trait of neuroticism, whereas the hypothesis about the relationship between flow and extraversion was not supported by sufficient evidence.
