Bakalářská práce analyzuje volební proces a výsledky voleb do krajského zastupitelstva v Ústeckém kraji v letech 2000, 2004 a 2008. Text nejprve seznamuje se sociogeografickými charakteristikami kraje, se vznikem krajského zřízení a teorií voleb druhého řádu. The Bachelor thesis analyses an electoral process and elections returns to the regional council in Ústecký region in years 2000, 2004 and 2008. The text acquaints with physical-geographic characteristics of that region, with creation of the regional system and with the concept of second-order elections.
