Interpretation in 20th. Century. Feminist interpretation of The Taming of the Shrew.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá interpretací textu ve dvacátém století, představuje vybrané inter-pretační směry dvacátého století a podává přehledovou studii a popis těchto směrů, jako možností práce s textem a přístupů k němu. Teoretická část se skládá z vymezení pojmu interpretace, zabývá se historií, definicí, vývojem interpretace. Druhá rozsáhlejší část teoretické části pak přibližuje, jak na interpretaci nahlíží různé přístupy ve dvacátém století a snaží se představit, jak myslitelé přistupovali/jí k textu, jaké jsou jejich metody práce s textem, co je pro ně při interpretaci stěžejní. Praktická část je pak samotná interpretace uměleckého textu prizmatem vybraného interpretačního přístupu, a to feministického. Interpretována je zde hra Zkrocení zlé ženy Williama Shakespeara, kde je prakticky předveden jeden ze způsobů, jak lze interpretovat text.

Abstract:

Thesis pursue with interpretation of text in twentieth century, presents chosen interpretative approaches in twentieth century and try to put overview and descrip-tion of these approaches as possibilities of work with text. Theoretical part is com-posed of specification of the term interpretation and description of history, definition and development of interpretation. Second part of theoretical part expounds how is interpretation views by various approaches and presents how thinkers works with text, which methods they use, what is significant for them in process of interpreta-tion. Practical part is an interpretation of artistic text (William Shakespeare´s Taming of the Shrew) by prism of feministic interpretative approach. In this part is practically show one of the possibilities of interpretation of text.
