Transformation and Humanizing Processes in Residential Social Service Facility with an Emphasis on the Possibility of Meeting the Individual Needs of People with Intellectual Disabilities

Abstract:

Obsahem předkládané diplomové práce je téma transformačních a humanizačních procesů v pobytovém zařízení sociálních služeb s důrazem na možnosti naplňování individuálních potřeb osob s mentálním postižením. Cílem práce je identifikovat a analyzovat transformační a humanizační procesy v pobytovém zařízení sociálních služeb v kontextu možností naplňováni individuálních potřeb osob s mentálním postižením. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části: část teoretickou, s obsahem pěti kapitol, a část praktickou, v rozsahu dvou kapitol, s prezentací charakteristik vybraného pobytového zařízení sociálních služeb a analýzy a interpretace dat z průběhu transformačních a humanizačních procesů ve vybraném pobytovém zařízení. Teoretická část se zabývá konceptem procesu transformace sociálních služeb, základními východisky a kriterii transformace i podporou transformace v rámci Moravskoslezského kraje. Současně si všímá procesu humanizace v sociálních službách, jejich vymezení v platné legislativě a charakterizuje pobytová zařízení sociálních služeb v dimenzi zákona o sociálních službách i v kontextu transformace sociálních služeb. Krátce se také obrací k nástrojům zvyšování kvality sociálních služeb-standardům kvality sociálních služeb a pozornost věnuje individuálním potřebám osob s mentálním postižením. Vymezuje typologii mentálního zdravotního postižení a charakterizuje osoby s mentálním postižením. Závěr teoretické části patří exkurzu do sociální práce a oblasti individuálního plánování v pobytovém zařízení sociálních služeb s vyzvednutím role sociálního pracovníka v sociálních službách a klíčového přístupu orientovaného na klienta. Empirická část se ve dvou kapitolách opírá o výše uvedený teoretický základ, vychází z kvalitativní výzkumné strategie orientované na analýzu rizik průběhu transformačních a humanizačních procesů a zachycení proměny možností naplňování potřeb osob s mentálním postižením ve vybraném pobytovém zařízení sociálních služeb Domov Barevný svět z pohledu pracovníků multidisciplinátního transformačního týmu.

Abstract:

The content of the thesis is the theme of transformation and humanizing process in residential social services with emphasis on the possibility of meeting the individual needs of persons with mental disabilities. The aim is to identify and analyze the transformative and humanising processes in residential social services in the context of opportunities filled with the individual needs of persons with mental disabilities. The work is divided into two main parts: a theoretical part , containing five chapters , and a practical part in the range of two chapters , with the presentation of the characteristics of the selected residence social service and analysis and interpretation of data during transformation and humanizing processes in selected residential facility. The theoretical part deals with the concept of the process of transformation of social services , basic issues and criteria for transformation and support transformation in the Moravian-Silesian Region. At the same time notes the process of humanization in social services , their definition in the legislation in force and is characterized by residential social services in the dimension of the Social Services Act and in the context of the transformation of social services. Soon also turning to tools improve the quality of social service - quality standards of social services and attention to the individual needs of people with intellectual disabilities. Defines a typology of mental disability and characterizes people with mental disabilities. Conclusion The theoretical part includes excursion into the field of social work and individual planning in residential social services to pick up the role of social workers in social services and key client -oriented approach. Empirical part in two chapters rely on the theoretical basis of qualitative research strategy focused on risk analysis of the transformation process and humanizing and capturing changes options fulfillment of the needs of persons with mental disabilities in selected residential social services Home colorful world from the perspective of worker workers multidisciplinary team transformation.
