Diplomová práce je zaměřena na činnost a kompetence asistenta pedagoga při edukaci dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na základní škole speciální ve Zlíně. Vymezuje teoretická východiska funkce asistent pedagoga, legislativní ukotvení a zaměřuje se na jeho kvalifikační a osobnostní předpoklady.
