Modelová rostlina Arabidopsis thaliana je široce využívána k identifikaci a lokalizaci jednotlivých genů a určování jejich funkcí prostřednictvím klasické i inzerční metageneze. The model plant Arabidopsis thaliana is widely used for the identification and localization of individual genes and the determination of their functions by means of both classical and insertional mtagenesis.
