Overview of the modern methods of structural analysis of materials

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit ucelený přehled moderních metod strukturální analýzy materiálů a zdůraznit aspekty, resp. význam jejich využití v oblasti elektrotechnologické diagnostiky. Text je členěn do třech hlavních oddílů, které vycházejí ze zadání této práce. V prvním oddílu je shrnuta účelnost použití metod napříč různými vědními obory, které analytická data využívají. Významem této kapitoly je předpoklad, že příklady všestranného využití a aplikací těchto metod, jsou nezbytné pro urychlení vývoje a jejich aplikace v dalších odvětvích. Druhý oddíl prezentuje ucelenou klasifikaci metod termické analýzy, separačních a spektrometrických metod, jakožto nejvýznamnějších představitelů metod strukturálních analýz a současně nabízí jejich obecnou charakteristiku. Vzhledem k omezenému rozsahu této práce není možné se detailně zabývat všemi metodami, proto je třetí oddíl koncipován formou detailní charakteristiky vybraných metod používaných v elektrotechnologické diagnostice nebo s významným potenciálem pro užití v této oblasti. V této kapitole jsou na úvod také shrnuty aspekty jejich použití pro diagnostiku elektrotechnických materiálů. Zároveň tato kapitola poskytuje konkrétní příkladové studie u každé zmíněné metody.

Abstract:

The main objective of the thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of modern methods of structural analysis of materials and emphasize aspects, respectively their potential use in electro technological diagnosis. The work is divided into three main sections, which are based on the assignment of this work. The first section summarizes the effectiveness of the methods across different disciplines that make use of analytical data. The significance of this chapter is the assumption that examples of versatility and application of these methods are essential for accelerating the development and their application in other sectors. The second section presents a comprehensive classification of methods of thermal analysis, separation and spectrometric methods, while offering their general characteristics. Due to the limited scope of this work is not possible to cover all the methods in detail, so the third section is designed as a detailed characterization of selected methods which are used in structural analysis electro technological diagnosis or significant potential for use in this area. Introduction of this chapter summarizes the important aspects and diagnostic use of electro technical materials. At the same time at the end of each method for specific examples of the utilisation.
