Painting and Sculptural Decoration of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Brno
Abstract:
This thesis deals with decoration of the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Brno from the 2nd half of the 18th century. The target is to expound age terminations, authorships, donators and iconographies of several artefacts from the given period. The emphasis is put on the work with archival sources, iconography and style analysis.
Abstract:
Práca sa zaoberá výzdobou kostola od 2. polovice 18. storočia. Cieľom je objasniť datáciu, autorstvo a ikonografiu jednotlivých atrefaktov pochádzajúcich z daného obdobia, a tiež otázku donátorstva. Dôraz je kladený na prácu s prameňmi, ikonografiu, a štýlovú analýzu atrefaktov výzdoby.
