Employee satisfaction and analysis of financial performance

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá spokojeností zaměstnanců a finanční výkonností podniku. Literární rešerše shrnuje poznatky o této problematice, následuje metodologie představující průběh výzkumu. Praktická část poté uvádí výsledky dotazníku a statistických analýz, jež se týkají vztahů mezi spokojeností a výkonem zaměstnanců, ale i subjektivně vnímaným výkonem a výkonem podřízených pracovníků z pohledu manažerů. Dále je i uvedeno porovnání těchto subjektivních dat s objektivními finančními daty podniku. Na závěr jsou uvedeny doporučení, jež při implementaci povedou ke zvýšení zaměstnanecké spokojenosti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with employee satisfaction and financial performance of the selected company. Literature review summarizes the current knowledge in this scientific area. Then methodology introduces the research progress. The practical part presents the questionnaire and statistical analysis results related to the relationship between employee satisfaction and performance, but also subjectively perceived performance and the performance of subordinates from the managers’ perspective. In the end there is a description of a comparison of these two views – subjective and objective financial data. The last part presents suggestions that will lead to an increase in employee satisfaction.
