Analysis of corporate motivation and stimulation with respect to employees age

Abstract:

Subject of this thesis is the problematic of personnel management focusing on the area of corporate motivation and stimulation with respect to employees´ age. Theoretical part of this thesis is orientated on the general description of process of motivation and stimulation, some motivation theories, as well as the explanation of the relationship between motivation, job satisfaction and employee performance. Therefore, there is brought out Age Management. In this thesis, there is also explained by some authors, how the work motivation differs with respect to employees´ age. Practical part of the thesis is focused on analysis of process of motivation and stimulation in the company called Electro World Ltd. The result of the description and the analysis of these processes is the suggestion and recommendation for improvement for the motivation system with respect to employees´ age. The aim of this thesis is to assess the process of motivation and stimulation with respect to employees´ age and after that to propose solutions which could help the organization to increase employees´ motivation.

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je problematika personálního managementu se zaměřením na oblast motivace a stimulace pracovníků z hlediska věku. Teoretická část práce je věnována obecnému popisu procesu motivace a stimulace, vybraným teoriím motivace a objasnění vztahu mezi motivací, pracovní spokojeností a pracovním výkonem. Následně je v práci vysvětlený pojem Age Management a také problematika odlišnosti motivace pracovníků v pracovním prostředí z hlediska jejich věku podle různých autorů. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na analýzu motivačního a stimulačního systému v organizaci Electro World s.r.o. Výsledkem popisu a analýzy jednotlivých procesů je návrh a doporučení pro zlepšení těchto systémů s ohledem na věk pracovníků. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit proces motivace a stimulace z hlediska věku pracovníků a následně navrhnout řešení k realizaci projektů, které by pomohly organizaci zvýšit motivaci pracovníků.
