Korejský pop se v posledních několika letech stále častěji objevuje ve velkých zahraničních médiích. Všímají si ho hudební televize, časopisy i kritici, korejští popoví umělci útočí na mezinárodní ceny tradičně předávané mezi umělci evropskými a americkými.
