Baťa s Zlín between world wars - an ideal industrial city, window-case of the company and base for the economic expansion
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o meziválečném rozvoji obuvnické firmy, založené ve Zlíně Tomášem Baťou. Zvláštní zřetel je věnován stavební činnosti firmy a typickému harakteru města Zlína coby "města v zahradách". Je rovněž pojednáno snahách po vytvoření ideálního průmyslového města a aplikaci těchto teorií na samotný Zlín.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with development of the famous czechoslovakian shoemaking factory, which was incorporated by Tomáš Baťa in a moravian town Zlín. In a forty years, small town turned into a dynamic city with more than forty thousands inhabitants ant with typical functionalist architecture.
