Individual Planning During Transformation and Deinstitucionalization of Residential Social Care for Persons with Handicap

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá individuálním plánováním v průběhu procesů transformace a deinstitucionalizace pobytových sociálních služeb pro osoby s postižením. Teoretická část pojednává o významu transformace a deinstitucionalizace, jakožto změně v poskytování sociálních služeb, o individuálním plánování, které je procesem osobní změny člověka s postižením vedoucím (nejen) k jeho samostatnosti. Také pojednává o souběžnosti a vzájemném propojení těchto tří procesů, jako ideálním způsobu, jak s podporou sociální služby zmocnit člověka s postižením,  pomoci mu zvýšit jeho autonomii a umožnit mu poté žít pouze s takovou mírou podpory sociální služby, kterou vyžaduje jeho postižení. V empirické části se autorka zabývá vlivem prostředí velkokapacitního zařízení a prostředí malých domácností na realizaci individuálního plánování s lidmi s postižením a jejich následnou samostatnost. Pro svůj kvalitativní průzkum si zvolila pobytové zařízení sociálních služeb, které je zařazeno do projektu Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí České republiky, nazvaného "Podpora transformace sociálních služeb" a uskutečnila jej v průběhu tohoto procesu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with individual planning during transformation and deinstitutionalization processes of stay welfare services for disabled people. Theoretical part concerns itself with the importance of transformation and deinstitutionalization as a change in providing welfare services, with individual planning which is a process of personal change of a disabled person leading (not only) to his independence. It also deals with a parallelism and mutual interconnection of these three processes as an optimal way how to empower a disabled person with support of a welfare service, how to help him increase his independence and consequently enable him to live with such an extend of welfare service, that is required by his disablement. In the empirical part, the author deals with the influence of the environment of a large capacity institution and the environment of small households on realization of individual planning with disabled people and their consequential independence. For her qualitative research she chose a stay welfare service institution which is put in a Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic project called "Support of welfare services transformation" and she realized the research during this process.
