Ve svém úvodu práce shrnuje architektonický vývoj města Brna s ohledem na typickou zástavbu, nebo nejvýraznější prvky jednotlivých období. Na všeobecnou kapitolu navazuje část o muzejních budovách, kde je uváděna jejich historie a úpravy jak z období před převzetím muzei, tak z období muzejní správy. In the beginning of the graduation theses there is described the history of architecture of town Brno according to typical buildings and characteristic architectural details of each historical periods.
