Readiness of Elementary Schools in Opava Region for Integration of Visually Impaired Pupils

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou integrace žáků se zrakovým postižením na základních školách. Teoretická část seznamuje s anatomií a fyziologií zrakového orgánu, s příčinami vzniku zrakových vad, s nejčastějšími diagnózami zrakových vad v dětském věku. Přibližuje zvláštnosti vývoje osobnosti zrakově postiženého jedince. Definuje kategorie osob se zrakovým postižením. Popisuje formy a specifika vzdělávání žáků se zrakovým postižením, zaměřuje se zvláště na formu individuální integrace žáků v základní škole. Informuje o současné právní úpravě školské integrace. Praktická část obsahuje průzkum formou dotazníkového šetření na základních školách v okrese Opava. Cílem průzkumu je stanovit připravenost těchto škol na vzdělávání žáků se zrakovým postižením. Interpretace výsledků šetření je zpracována formou komentovaných grafů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focus on problems of integration of visual impaired children at general elementary schools. The theoretical part of this thesis provide us with general knowledge of a visual organ, its anatomy and physiology, origin of causes of visual handicap and the most common diagnosis in child?s age. This thesis approaches strangeness in the development of a visual impaired individual. It is defining by categories of the visual impaired individuals. It describes forms and specifications in education of the visual impaired children, it especially focus on the individual integration children at an elementary school. This thesis informs about contemporary legal adjustment of school integration. The practical part consists a research through questionnaires at general elementary schools in district Opava. The results of the research determines the school readiness for the education visual impaired children. The research is interpretated by the annotated graphs.
