The effect of comprehensive rehabilitation on the development of children with severe combined disabilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem ucelené rehabilitace na vývoj dětí s těžkým kombinovaným postižením. V teoretické části práce se budeme zabývat systémem ucelené rehabilitace, teoretickými východisky kombinovaného postižení a specifikací Syndromu RAC3 a Syndromu makrocefalie a kapilární malformace. Praktická část bude realizována kvalitativním šetřením prostřednictvím výzkumného designu případové studie. Data budou sbírána analýzou pedagogické diagnostiky, závěry šetření SPC, lékařských zpráv, pozorováním a rozhovory s rodiči dětí. Nedílnou součástí výzkumu bude test Funkční míry nezávislosti pro dospělé (FIM test), prostřednictvím kterého posoudíme současnou úroveň dovedností a schopností šetřených jedinců a porovnáme ji s jejich dosaženou úrovní po komplexním speciálně pedagogickém působení začleňujícím prvky ucelené rehabilitace. Přínosem práce bude zvýšit povědomí o vzácných typech postižení, vývoji těchto dětí od narození do mladšího školního věku i poskytnutí vodítka péče o tyto děti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the influence of comprehensive rehabilitation on the development of children with severe combined disabilities. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we will look at the system of comprehensive rehabilitation, the theoretical starting points of combined disability and the specifications of RAC 3 syndrome and Macrocephaly Syndrome and capillary malformation. The practical part will be implemented through a qualitative investigation through the research design of the case study. The data will be collected by analysing pedagogical diagnostics, the findings of the Educational Councelling Centre investigation, medical reports, observations and interviews with the children's parents. An integral part of the research will be The Functional Independence Measure for adults (FIM test), through which we assess the current level of skills and abilities of the individuals surveyed and compare it with their level achieved after a comprehensive special pedagogical intervention incorporating elements of comprehensive rehabilitation. The benefits of the work will be to raise awareness of rare types of disabilities, the development of these children from birth to younger school age, as well as to provide guidance on the care of these children.
