Family life partners of the Czech and Slovak nationality coexistence

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se věnuji kvalitě partnerských vztahů mezi příslušníky národností Čechů a Slováků. V teoretické části se zaměřím na výběr partnera, podmínky vzniku a fungování rodiny a popíši, co vše ovlivňuje partnerské soužití. Prověřím antropologické a kulturní základy obou národů a specifikuji jejich odlišnosti týkající se zakládání rodiny a přístupu ve výchově. V praktické části jsem provedla kvalitativní výzkum formou rozhovoru se ženami slovenské národnosti, které žijí v manželském svazku s mužem české národnosti na území České republiky a společně vychovali nebo vychovávají děti. Prozkoumám partnerské soužití, rodinné vazby a výchovné aspekty v multikulturním prostředí. Cílem výzkumu je vytvořit teorii o rodinném soužití partnerů odlišné národnosti.

Abstract:

In my thesis I deal with family coexistence between partners who are members of the Slovak and Czech nationality. In the theoretical part I am focusing on issues related to the right partner choice, later on I deal with the conditions of formation and functioning of the family as well as I describe anything that could affect partner relationship. Moreover I examine anthropological and cultural foundations of both mentioned nations as well as I specify differences regarding family formation and approaches in education. In the empirical part which has been based on a qualitative approach through interviews with women of Slovak nationality, who stays in a marriage with a men of Czech nationality in the Czech Republic and raised together or bringing up children. I explore the developmental stage of cohabitation, family ties and educational aspects in an intercultural environment. The aim of the research is to make a theory of family cohabitation between Slovak and Czech nationality partners.
