Resocialization of people with acquired visual impairment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje resocializaci osob se získaným zrakovým postižením. Teoretická část zprvu čtenáře seznamuje s pojmem osoba se zrakovým postižením se zaměřením na důsledky získaného postižení v průběhu života. Posléze je seznámen se stěžejním tématem resocializace osob se získaným zrakovým postižením do vzdělávání, na pracovní trh a středisky podporující resocializaci. Teoretická část je zakončena představením několika zahraničních i tuzemských publikací, které se věnují resocializaci osob se zrakovým postižením, následovaná empirickým šetřením. Sběr a následné zpracování dat jsou představeny v metodologii výzkumného šetření. Empirická část práce interpretuje výsledky z kvalitativního výzkumu, který je založen na 8 rozhovorech vedených s osobami se získaným zrakovým postižením. Na základě analýzy rozhovorů byla u osob po získání zrakového postižení zjištěna celková změna životního stylu, která vyplývala z individuálních obtíží s resocializací se zpět do společnosti, což vedlo k zohledňování běžných činností zrakovému postižení.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the resocialization of people with acquired visual impairments. The theoretical part at first introduces the reader to the concept of a person with a visual impairment, focusing on the consequences of acquired disability over the course of a lifetime. He is then introduced to the core theme of resocialising people with acquired visual impairments into education, the labour market and centres supporting resocialisation. The theoretical part ends with the introduction of several foreign and domestic publications devoted to the resocialization of people with visual impairments, followed by an empirical investigation. The collection and subsequent processing of data is presented in the methodology of the research investigation. The empirical part of the work interprets results from qualitative research, which is based on 8 interviews conducted with people with acquired visual impairment. Based on an analysis of interviews, a complete lifestyle change resulting from the individual's difficulty in resocialising back into society was found in people with visual impairment, resulting in consideration of normal activities to the visually impaired.
