Fiscal policy and economic cycle in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem práce je podrobně analyzovat fiskální politiku a její vztah k hospodářskému cyklu v ČR, nutnost konsolidace veřejných financí ČR a v neposlední řadě problematikou státního dluhu ČR. Na základě těchto kritérií budou v práci analyzovány, jak struktura fiskálních příjmů, tak i výdajů v období od roku 1995 do současnosti, včetně odhadů budoucího vývoje a to nejen ve vtahu ke konvergenčním kritériím, ale i cílům, jeţ si stanovila současná vláda. Reálnost stávajících a plánovaných opatřenou jsou v této práci dány do kontextu, jak se současným hospodářským cyklem, tak i vývojem veřejných financí v ČR.

Abstract:

Purpose of this work is analyze in detail the fiscal policy and its relationship to the business cycle in the Czech Republic, the need for fiscal consolidation in the Czech Republic last but not least the issue of the national debt of the Czech Republic. Based on these criteria will work analyzed how the structure of fiscal revenue and expenditure in the period from 1995 to the present, including estimates of future developments, not only In relation to the convergence criteria, but also the objectives that it set the current government. Feasibility of the existing and planned measures in this work put into context how the current economic cycle and the development of public finances in the Czech Republic.
