Předkládaná práce se zaměřuje na způsob, jakým doboví kritici a znalci umění pohlíželi na postavu François-André Vincenta jako umělce na přelomu 18. a 19. století. Hlavní pozornost je věnována dvěma obrazům z římských dějin, které byly vystaveny na pařížském Salonu v letech 1787 a 1791. Abstract:
The present bachelor thesis is focused on the way in which art critics and connoisseurs viewed the figure of François-André Vincent as an artist at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The main attention is paid to two paintings from Roman history that were exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1787 and 1791.
