Interaction between teacher and teaching assistant at the first level of elementary school

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá spoluprací mezi učitelem a asistentem pedagoga na 1. stupni základní školy. Zaměřuje se na jejich vzájemnou interakci, rozdělení kompetencí a komunikaci, které mohou tuto spolupráci usnadnit či komplikovat. Cílem práce je analyzovat přínos asistentů pedagoga ve výuce, vnímání jejich role a identifikovat překážky, se kterými se obě skupiny setkávají. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení učitelské profese a role asistenta pedagoga, jejich kompetencím a vzájemné spolupráci. Dále se zaměřuje na vzdělávání na 1. stupni ZŠ a faktory ovlivňující třídní klima. Praktická část pak vychází z rozhovorů s učiteli a asistenty pedagoga, kteří sdílejí své zkušenosti a pohledy na vzájemnou spolupráci. Závěry práce mohou být přínosné nejen pro pedagogy, ale také pro širší veřejnost se zájmem o inkluzivní vzdělávání a možnosti spolupráce mezi učiteli a asistenty pedagoga.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the cooperation between a teacher and a teaching assistant in a primary school. It focuses on their interaction, the division of competences and communication that can facilitate or complicate this collaboration. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the contribution of teaching assistants in teaching, perception of their role and to identify the obstacles encountered by both sides. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the teaching profession and the role of teaching assistants, their competences and cooperation. It also focuses on education at the first level of primary school and factors influencing the classroom climate. The practical part is based on interviews with teachers and teaching assistants who share their experiences and perspectives on mutual cooperation. The conclusions of the thesis can be useful not only for teachers, but also for the wider public interested in inclusive education and the possibilities of cooperation between teachers and teaching assistants.
