Anotácia:

Diplomová práce pojednává o umění kočovného divadla a fungování nezávislých, komunitních souborů v České republice. První část práce je věnována historii kočovných loutkářských společností, historii cirkusu a komediantství. Druhá část přibližuje tvorbu čtyř nezávislých umělců, jejichž tvorbu lze charakterizovat tímto směrem. Cíl práce není přesné zmapování historie nebo současnosti, jako spíše přiblížit atmosféru a tvorbu tohoto žánru.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the art of a touring theatre and the function of independent community-based ensembles in the Czech republic. The first part of this thesis deals with the history of touring puppet theater companies, the history of circus and carny. The second part draws and elaborates on four independent artists, whose work can be characterised in such way. The aim of this work does not consist in the exact mapping of history or present time but more to draw closer attention to the atmosphere and art of this genre.
