Diagnostics of electronic assemblies using X-rays

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá diagnostikou elektronických sestav za pomocí výpočetní tomografie. V první části práce je popsána funkce výpočetního tomografu a rentgenu obecně. V další části je zpracován výpis vad elektronických sestav a jejich popisu rozdělený do třech kategorií. V další části je již popsána diagnostika různých vad za pomocí destruktivních a nedestruktivních metod včetně jejich vyhodnocení. Metody jsou na základě výsledků a vhodnosti pro jednotlivé typy vad navzájem porovnány a zhodnoceny. V závěru práce je obsaženo doporučení pro volbu vhodných parametrů výkonu rentgenové trubice a jejich vliv na výsledný obraz, které lze využít v praxi.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the diagnosis of electronic assemblies using computed tomography. The first part of the thesis describes the function of computed tomography and X-ray in general. In the next part, a list of defects of electronic assemblies and their description divided into three categories is presented. In the next part, the diagnosis of various defects using destructive and non-destructive methods including their evaluation is also described. The methods are compared and evaluated on the basis of their results and suitability for each type of defect. The paper concludes with recommendations for the selection of appropriate X-ray tube performance parameters and their influence on the resulting image, which can be used in practice.
