The recovery of cardiac autonomic regulation after anaerobic exercise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá sledováním aktivity autonomního nervového systému pomocí spektrální analýzy srdeční frekvence (SA HRV) po anaerobním zatížení. Náplní práce bylo hodnocení HRV s cílem sledovat krátkodobé zotavení kardiální autonomní regulace po anaerobním zatížení ve formě ?Wingate testu?. Monitorování HRV proběhlo prostřednictvím frekvenční domény během 15 ? ti minut před zatížením, dále pak pokračovalo dalších 10 intervalů ihned po ukončení zátěže. Pro hodnocení SA HRV byly použity základní ukazatele variability srdeční frekvence (HRV): PT, PHF, PLF, LF/HF a LFnu. Naměřené hodnoty experimentální skupiny byly následně porovnány s výsledky skupiny kontrolní, u které proběhlo monitorování ve stejných intervalech, avšak bez zátěže. Výsledky ukazují, že jednotlivé indexy HRV se v porovnání s kontrolní skupinou nevrátily na klidové hodnoty během fáze zotavení (v průběhu 10 ? ti intervalů). Celková úroveň HRV tak zůstala na zvýšené úrovni, z čehoš vyplývá, že po celou dobu monitorování převažovala aktivita sympatiku. Závěrem můžeme konstatovat, že zatížení ve formě anaerobního Wingate testu bylo příliš vysoké na to, aby došlo k úplnému zotavení kardiální autonomní regulace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with monitoring the activities of the autonomic nervous systém by heart rate spectral analysis (SA HRV) after anaerobic exercise. The aim of the study was to measure value of HRV to monitor short-term recovery of cardiac autonomic regulation after anaerobic load through the "Wingate" test. Monitoring was carried out by means of HRV frequency domain within a fifteen minutes before loading, then continued for next 10 intervals immediately after the performance. For the evaluation of SA HRV, basic indicators of heart rate variability (HRV): PT, PHF, PLF, LF / HF and LFnu were used. Measured values of the experimental group were compared with the results of the control group in the same intervals, but without exercise. The results show that each of the indexes of HRVdid not recover to resting values after exercise (during the 10 intervals), when compared with the control group. The overall level of HRV remained at higher levels, indicating a predominant sympathetic activity throughout the monitoring period. Finally, we can conclude that the load in the form of Wingate anaerobic test was too high in order to completely recover cardiac autonomic control.
