Transformation Process in Slatiňany Residential Institution

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá aktuální tématikou procesu transformace. V první části je práce zaměřena na teoretické vymezení mentálního postižení, psychické zvláštnosti u osob s mentálním postižením, sociální služby a na proces transformace. Výzkumná část mapuje Domov pro osoby se zdravotním postižením v Pardubickém kraji s názvem Domov sociálních služeb Slatiňany. Analyzuje dokumenty a materiály o tomto zařízení a následně komparuje současný stav v rámci připravenosti a očekávání uživatelů od procesu transformace a ověřování rozvoje sebeobslužných kompetencí u uživatelů zapojených do pilotního projektu. Cílem práce je zmapování připravenosti a očekávání uživatelů od procesu transformace a ověření rozvoje sebeobslužných kompetencí u uživatelů, kteří jsou zapojeni do pilotního projektu.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals with the current theme of the transformation process. The first part of the work is focused on the theoretical definition of intellectual disability, mental traits in persons with mental disabilities, social services and the transformation process. Research part surveys of home for people with disabilities in the Pardubice region called “Domov sociálních služeb Slatiňany”. It analyzes documents and materials about this home and then compares the current state of preparedness and expectations of users from the process of transformation and verification of developement of self competence among users involved in the pilot project. The aim is to map preparedness and users' expectations from the process of transformation and verification developement of self competencies for users who are involved in a pilot project.
