The value orientation of youth in institutional education

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce s názvem ,,Hodnotová orientace mládeže v ústavní výchově" je komparace hodnotové orientace u mladistvých ve věku od patnácti do osmnácti let z výchovných ústavů a mladistvých žijících v rodinném prostředí. Teoretická část se zaobírá problematikou hodnot a hodnotové orientace, včetně klasifikace hodnot a jejich následnou transformací a stabilizací. Dále se věnujeme pojmům mravnost, mravní vědomí a mravní hodnoty, které s tématem úzce souvisí. V neposlední řadě se věnujeme obecné charakteristice období dospívání a popisem školských zařízení pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy. Výzkumné šetření realizované v rámci empirické části je zaměřeno na hodnotovou orientaci u mládeže. Výzkumné šetření bakalářské práce probíhalo na výzkumném vzorku 72 respondentů, mladistvých ve věku 15 až 18 let nacházejících se ve výchovných ústavech a mladistvých žijících v rodinném prostředí. Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit a nalézt odlišnosti v hodnotové orientaci u vybraných skupin respondentů. Pro statistické vyhodnocení dat získaných dotazníkovým šetřením bylo využito příslušného typu t-testu pro komparaci aritmetických průměrů dvou nezávislých výběrů dat.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is the analysis and comparison of values of juveniles aged 15-18 living in the family environment and juveniles living in protective institutions. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part contains explanations of concepts of values and value orientation, including classification of values, their transformation and stabilization. We also deal with the concepts of morality, moral consciousness and moral values that are closely related to the topic. Last but not least, we look at the general characteristics of the period of adolescence and the description of the school facilities for institutional and protective care. The research carried out within the empirical part is then focused on the identification and comparison of value orientation in selected groups of respondents. We analyzed, compared, and found differences. A research survey of the bachelor thesis was carried out on a sample of 72 respondents; juveniles aged 15-18 in institutional care and juveniles living in a family environment. For the statistical evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaire survey, the relevant type of t-test was used to compare the arithmetic mean of two independent data selections.
