Tato práce se zabývá gramatickou inverzí ve fikci a populárně naučné literatuře. V anglickém jazyce se vyskytují zejména dva základní druhy gramatické inverze, inverze úplná a inverze částečná . This thesis is devoted to the study of inverted constructions in fiction and non-fiction. In English there are two basic types of inverted constructions, subject-verb inversion and subject-operator inversion.
