Teacher s attitudes towards inclusive education and teaching assistants

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit a analyzovat názory pedagogů jedné základní školy nacházející se v Jihomoravském kraji na inkluzivní vzdělávání a na jejich spolupráci s asistenty pedagoga. Diplomová práce se skládá ze dvou částí – teoretické a empirické. První část je věnována zpracování teoretických informací týkajících se školské legislativy a rovněž účastníkům inkluzivního vzdělávání. Druhá část je zaměřena na kvalitativní výzkum, který je veden formou rozhovorů s pedagogy dané školy. Výzkum, který proběhl za pomocí rozhovorů, přinesl informace o názorech pedagogů na inkluzivní vzdělávání. Také informace o tom, jak konkrétně vypadá jejich spolupráce s asistenty pedagogů. V závěru této části budou shrnuty výsledky výzkumného šetření doplněná o doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this dissertation is to identify and analyze the opinions of teachers and their cooperation with teacher assistants of one primary school in South-Moravian region which is focused on inclusive education. This dissertation has two parts – Theoretical and Empirical. The first part is devoted to processing of theoretical information which are about school legislation and participants in inclusive education. The second part is focused on qualitative research, which is conducted through interviews with teachers from the school. The research, which is composed from interviews brings information about teacher’s opinions on inclusive education and information about their work with pedagogic assistants. At the end of this part will be summarize results of the survey, supplemented by recommendations.
