Pedagogical intervention in the field of Specific Learning Needs at Basic Schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou pedagogické intervence v oblasti specifických poruch učení na základní škole. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat postoje učitelů k dané problematice a k intervenci žáků se specifickými poruchami učení v běžných vyučovacích hodinách. Dílčím cílem je zmapování úrovně odborných znalostí pedagogů základních škol v okrese Nymburk o problematice SPU a jejich schopnost aplikovat své teoretické znalosti v edukačním procesu, analyzovat možnosti reedukace specifických poruch učení, využití podpůrných opatření a kompenzačních pomůcek při práci běžném vzdělávacím proudu, možnosti aplikace alternativních metod reedukace a individuálního přístupu k žákům s SPU.

Abstract:

The thesis is meant to address the issue of pedagogical intervention in the field of specific learning needs at basic schools. The aim is to analyse attitudes of teachers towards the above mentioned issue, and also towards the intervention of pupils with special educational needs during the lessons. The partial objectives are: establishing the level of expertise of teachers of primary schools in the Nymburk and Prague east district regarding the above mentioned issue; their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in the educational process; their ability to analyze the possibilities of re-education of students with specific learning needs; abilities to use special educational methods and compensation tools in the current education stream; possibilities of applying alternative methods of re-education and of individual approaches to children with special educational needs.
