Mandatory user payments and their impact on the functioning of social services in the Vysočina Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá povinnými úhradami klientů a jejich vlivem na fungování sociálních služeb v Kraji Vysočina. Cílem je zhodnotit, zda povinné úhrady klientů jsou dostačující na pokrytí nákladů spojených s péči o ně, a zda jsou finanční prostředky dostačující ke zlepšení kvality v sociálních službách. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá celkovým financováním sociálních služeb, povinnými úhradami klientů na sociální služby a financováním sociálních služeb v Kraji Vysočina. Praktická část diplomové práce se věnuje analýze rozhovorů s participanty, které jsou podstatou této práce. V diplomové práci je využita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, která je vhodná pro získávání důležitých informací vzhledem k tématu diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the compulsory payments of clients and their influence on the functioning of social services in the Vysočina Region. The aim is to evaluate whether the mandatory payments of clients are sufficient to cover the costs associated with their care and whether the financial resources are sufficient to improve the quality of social services. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the overall financing of social services, mandatory client payments for social services and financing of social services in the Vysočina Region. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of interviews with participants, which are the essence of this thesis. The thesis uses a qualitative research strategy, which is suitable for obtaining important information in relation to the topic of the thesis.
