Abstract:

Problematika domácího násilí se v České republice otevřela s řešením širších sociálních otázek pro roce 1989. Jako první na toto závažné téma upozornily v devadesátých letech neziskové organizace, které se zasloužily o to, že pojem domácí násilí vstoupil do povědomí širší veřejnosti. Tato diplomová práce se věnuje popisu sociální služby azylové domy a také problematice domácího násilí. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo zmapovat informovanost široké veřejnosti právě o těchto dvou tématech. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část práce byla zaměřena na popis služby azylový dům. Také na problematiku domácího násilí. Základní informace o něm, uvedení jeho znaků, druhů, fází a příčin. Zmínění se o jeho aktérech, prevenci, možné pomoci obětem a také o institutu vykázání. Praktická část je věnována dotazníkovému šetření, které zjišťuje informovanosti široké veřejnosti o problematice domácího násilí a sociální služby azylový dům.

Abstract:

The problem of domestic violence in the Czech Republic came out during the dealing with other new social problems after 1989. Non-profitable organisations were among the first to bring this subject of domestic violence to the wide public knowledge during the early nineties. This thesis is dedicated to the description of the function of those so-called asylum homes as well as the problem of domestic violence itself. The main objective is to make an overview of the public knowledge regarding these two subjects. The thesis is divided into two separate parts - academic and functional. The academic part deals with the function of the asylum homes. And also the domestic violence. It mentions its basic characteristics, signs, natures, stages and possible causes. It also makes a reference to those involved (attackers and victims), prevention, possible ways of how to help the afflicted ones and the legal actions that can be taken such as banishing the violator. The functional part is centred on the results of the questionnaire which aim is to reveal extend to which is the wide public informed on those two subjects – meaning the asylum homes function and domestic violence occurrence.
