Application severely disabled children and young people in everyday life

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vzdělávání a možnosti uplatnění jedince s těžkým tělesným postižením v běžném životě. Diplomová práce se člení na čtyři kapitoly. V první kapitole je uvedena základní problematika dětí s tělesným postižením. Je uvedena definice a klasifikace tělesného postižení, charakteristika rozštěpu páteře a v závěru kapitoly je uveden pohled na začlenění dětí s tělesným postižením do společnosti a postoj společnosti k nemocným. Ve druhé kapitole je analyzovaná možnost vzdělávání žáků s tělesným postižením. Je uvedena školská legislativa upravující vzdělávání žáků s tělesným postižením a preferující integraci žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami do běžných škol a školských zařízení, charakterizován Rámcový vzdělávací program pro gymnázia (RVP G), podmínky pro vzdělávání žáků se zdravotním postižením a pro vypracování individuálního vzdělávacího plánu (IVP). Třetí kapitola se zabývá pohledem na rodinu s dítětem se zdravotním postižením, reakcí rodiny na postižení dítěte, výchovnými postoji v rodině, sourozeneckými vztahy a životem jedince se zdravotním postižením. Obsahem čtvrté kapitoly je zpracování výzkumného projektu diplomové práce.

Abstract:

My thesis is aimed at education and posibilities of individuals with severe disabilities in everyday life. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter I generally describe the basic facts about physically handicapped children. There are definitions and clasification of types of physical handicaps, I characterise the diastematomyelia and at the end of this chapter there is viewed the inclusion of physically handicapped children into the society and attitude to the sick. In the second chapter I analyze possibilities of education of physically handicapped children. I mention school legislative that coordinates education of physically handicapped children and prefers integration of pupils with special educational needs into the common schools and educational institutions. Further I characterize General educational programme (RVP G) for hihg school, conditions for education of pupils with disabilities and for individual educational plan (IVP). The third chapter deals with an approach to the family of a child with disabilities, family reactions to child's disability, educational position in the family, relationships between siblings and life of individuals with disabilities. In the fourth chapter I compile research project connected with the theme of this thesis.
