Comparative study of Ukrainian and Czech legal terminology (development and contemporary state of terminology, problems of translation)
Abstract:
The dissertation examines Ukrainian legal terminology in comparison with Czech. It describes word formation of terminological phrases and conversion. Further it analyses synonymy, hypernymy and hyponymy, paronymy, antonymy, homonymy and polysemic features in the given terminological system. An analysis of problematic terms from the view of translation is also included in the thesis.
Abstract:
Disertační práce zkoumá ukrajinskou právní terminologii ve srovnání s českou. Popisuje slovotvorbu terminologických sousloví a konverzi. Dále jsou analyzovány synonymické, hypero-hyponymické, paronymické, antonymické, homonymické a polysémické jevy v dané terminologické soustavě. Součástí práce je i rozbor problematických termínů z hlediska překladu.
