V bakalářské práci jsem zjišťovala, zda jsou všeobecné sestry pracující na odděleních intenzivní a resuscitační péče informováni o problematice sepse se zaměřením na oblast její prevence. Nejvíce jsou sepsí ohroženi pacienti právě na ARO/JIP. Zajímala mě úroveň teoretických znalostí u všeobecných sester, a zda používají doporučené postupy k zabránění vzniku sepse. During my Bachelor work I investigated if the nurses working on intensive care and emergency departments are conversant with the problem of sepsis, paying particular attention to its prevention. The patients most in danger are placed just in those departments.
