Analysis of the financial statements and the statements of the chosen company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce nese název „Analýza účetní uzávěrky a závěrky ve vybraném podniku“. Cílem této bakalářské práce je komplexní provedení účetní uzávěrky a závěrky a jejich zhodnocení. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části, kterými jsou teoretická část a praktická část. V teoretické části je vysvětlen postup účetní uzávěrky a s tím spojené základní pojmy a dále také pojmy související s účetní závěrkou. Pro zpracování praktické části byly použity metody sběru dat, zpracování dat a vyhodnocení dat. V praktické části je nejprve představena společnost B a K production s.r.o. jejichž data jsou podkladem pro praktickou část této práce, poté jsou popsány činnosti společnosti, které souvisejí s účetní uzávěrkou. Dále jsou popsány jednotlivé účetní výkazy společnosti, kterými jsou rozvaha, výkaz zisku a ztráty, příloha k účetní závěrce a jako poslední je zpráva auditora. Díky této bakalářské práci jsem mohla získané znalosti během studia a z odborné literatury použít a aplikovat v praktické části této práce. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou popsány diskuze výsledků a návrhy opatření. Tato práce obsahuje také přílohy, ve kterých jsou zmíněné účetní výkazy společnosti zobrazeny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is entitled “Analysis of the Year-end Closing and Financial Statements of the Chosen Company.” The aim of this bachelor thesis is making a complex year-end closing and financial statements and their evaluation. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical one. The theoretical part explains the procedure of the year-end closing and the related basic concepts and also concepts related to the financial statements. For the processing of practical part the methods of data collection, the data processing and the data evaluation were used. In the practical part firstly is introduced by B & K Production, Ltd. whose data are underlaid for the practical part of this thesis, then they describe the activities related to the year-end closing. Last, but not least, there is the description of the company's individual accountant reports which are the balance sheet, the profit and loss statements, the attachment of the financial statements and the auditor's report as the last one. Thanks to this bachelor thesis I could use and apply my knowledge, gained both during my studies and from literature in the practical part of this thesis. The conclusion of this bachelor thesis deals with the discussion of results and measure proposals. It also contains attachments in which the mentioned company´s accountant reports are displayed.
